Craig Daymon >Herman, Thanks for the first hand response. One thing confuses me, you set your table to 35 degrees, which is going to put a 65 degree bevel on your tool (assuming you are measuring from horizontal). The Lee Valley site and you have mentioned a counter-clockwise rotation on the motor.

I use 40, 80, and 120, depending on the amount of metal removal required. I do not use any of the really fine grits like the Lee Valley sells because all my honing is done by hand.

The only thing I would like is for the full length of the platen to be usable, and the tracking system is crappy. I have tried using the top wheel, but its a bit heavily crowned.
